Personalisation guide
Custom photo wall clocks: choosing a photo and previewing your design
By PremHouse ·
The short answer
For a custom photo wall clock, start with the original, well-lit photograph rather than a screenshot. Keep the important subject away from the edges, consider where the clock hands will sit, and check your uploaded preview before adding the design to your bag.
Choose an image that means something
A family portrait, a favourite place or a photograph from a shared occasion can make a personal design. Begin with the image itself rather than adding lots of text and decorative elements. For a gift, think about both the recipient and the room where they might place it. Make sure you have permission to use the photograph.
Use the original photo file
A screenshot or a copy forwarded through several messaging apps may have lost detail. If possible, ask for the original camera file. Look closely at faces and fine details before uploading. Avoid photographs that are visibly blurred or very dark. A large file size by itself does not prove that an image is sharp.
Think about the crop and clock hands
A circular face may crop the corners of a rectangular photograph. Leave some space around the subject and avoid putting important text close to an edge. Clock hands occupy the centre, so consider whether they could cover a face or a detail you care about. Ask for a final layout proof if the product preview does not show the actual print boundaries.
Upload and review on PremHouse
Open a custom print clock from the collection and use the photo upload area on its product page. JPG or PNG is a practical choice for browser previews; convert HEIC if your browser cannot display it. The current uploader accepts files up to 10 MB. Review the photo and file name, replace it if needed, then choose a quantity and add it to your bag.
Make a final check before ordering
Check that the correct image is attached in your bag and order review. The current preview shows the uploaded photograph, not a calibrated print proof; screen colours and a finished print may differ. Confirm dimensions, print layout, delivery timing and the terms for personalised items with the seller before committing to a time-sensitive gift. PremHouse currently uses a demo checkout and does not collect payment.

Common questions
Can I use a phone photo for a custom wall clock?
Yes, provided it is clear and suitable for the intended print. Use the original file and check fine details, lighting and the crop before ordering.
Does uploading a photo guarantee print quality?
No. File acceptance only means the upload was accepted. Check sharpness, crop and the final layout with the seller before printing.
